Do we want to see massive year-over-year capacity growth?! YES!

Is that Delta's modus operandi? No. Not at all.

So to me it's one of two things;
A) We're not growing capacity, net growing the fleet and hiring like mad because these orders are replacement jets for the most part and if we only netted 30 airframes or so that's just a few hundred pilots in growth and with ALV+15 and other changes maybe it's status quo outside of retirements.

or

B) Delta management is going to change its philosophy and we're going to sneak attack something! Don't know what though, remember when we talked DFW but now you look at DFW and there's not a gate open in E. And Wall Street might not like a change in philosophy but then who cares if we own the world!
We'll wait and see.

Sneak attack? Could this be Alaska??? The Board does meet soon.....hmmm?

Part of the benefit on the 2L door on the 757 is the lobby area it creates even if using the 1L door. the 739/88/90, its a straight long aisle. When the 88/90s are deboarding you have these massive breaks of 3-5 minutes where nobody comes off because one slow person is creeping up the aisle. Then they get off and 80-130 people come off.

It'll all be somewhat mitigated if they do 1 hour turns at a minimum. IF they try the 40 minute turns, well, they'll need to be some push back. Because 40 minute turns only works if its 180 businessmen who fly 3-5 times a week. I've had 40-45 minute turns from PBI-DTW on the 88, wanna take a guess how many WCs we get on a PBI-DTW turn?

And 80... whats up with your little witch having short hair?!? She does better with the long hair, see...
Maybe we could hire some of those little Japanese dudes that shove people onto the subways.. (I am sure YOU can find a gif of that...)

I actually bid it because after only two weeks on the 88 ATL after being displaced off of DTW dc9 I was couldn't take anymore. The 15 hour days, constant maintenance problems, horrific weather delays, etc... It has been miserable. I was so exhausted and beat down after my trips it took me days to recover. Plus I was missing holidays and weekends when everyone back home was doing fun stuff. Made me a very crabby person.

What made them shut down the line for the 757, I will never know. I'd take some used ones, though.

Hey, hey, hey, we're lovers not fighters.

At least out west, I'm not sure about those ATL guys...they creep me out. They did it.

I swear I just looked at them. Went back in and they are gone. Should be back soon.
Nothing big. DTW 717 way junior. About 10 reinstatements. 2 awards for 73n and 2 for 320. Thats about it.
