Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Your daughter stops over on Saturday after work to say hi. She takes a shower before the company picnic and then has a piece of your Key Lime Pie. She has another piece because you make a great pie. You give her a hug tell you love her and then wish her fun at her picnic. Then three days later you get woken up on a layover with a phone call to realize that you will never see her ever again. It is quite trite but true. Enjoy every minute with your kids and family.
I am deeply saddened for you and your family. I cannot imagine the sorrow you feel. If you need anything please do not hesitate to call upon me at any time.
Alfa,
Have you and your family in my prayers. Can't imagine the pain of your loss. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.

Stunned. Alfa I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe. I just hugged my boys even closer tonight.

I hope and pray that this is not a story that describes what you are going through. If so, my prayers are with you and your family. If there is anything you need, please PM me. I'm sure everyone else feels the same.
Alpha, don't know if this is your loss or somebody close but my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
First, I don't recall Timbo assaulting your "manhood." Second, the fact that you bring it up is interesting. Seems as though a career of never voting against anything is making you a bit oversensitive. Your posts have always appeared to me as someone who was a top graduate of the rocking chair process. Just sayin.
In other words, we have to keep management from walking away from the table at all costs. Even if it means accepting the first offer from management prior to Section 6 even beginning, and fully funding any gain with concessions in other areas.
These are the kind of statements that certainly make me question whether you have any resolve at all...other than doing what you're told to do. The phrase "growing a pair" comes to mind, but I'm reminded of a female friend who says we've got to start replacing that phrase with "growing a vagina". After all, "those things take a pounding."

Damn Alfa, I'm so sorry.
Alfa, it looks like you are talking about the loss of your daughter there. I'm so sorry for your loss if that is the case (or close to you). Definitely praying for you and your family tonight.

Alpha,
Sir, there is no greater pain than the loss of a daughter ... none.
Every night I kiss my little girl and endeavor to never take for granted every little hug. Three friends, and if I may count you, four have lost their daughters and it is beyond my understanding of how such things can happen.
Having lost three very close friends last year; I know the "let us know what we can do for you" is appreciated, but rings hollow. I remember the set list my best friend and I played the weekend before he burned to death in a flight test accident. I still await his call to say, "Dude they got the wrong guy ... this is embarrassing, lets go ..." That call never comes.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. And may God give you His peace in your going out and in your coming in, in your lying down and in your rising up, in your labor and in your leisure, in your laughter and in your tears... Until you come to stand before Jesus in that day in which there is no sunset and no dawning.
