If u have an iPhone then Next Flight is the app to have for commuters. It won't show loads but if you put the two airports in it will give u all available flights, when and where they are leaving from and if they are onetime!

Guys, sorry to "butt" in but I'm looking for the "gouge" on taking my wife to Paris in a few days. To/from airport on crew bus or train/subway, things to do etc. Haven't been to Paris in 2+ years(and never with the wife)

Thanks,

Thanks,

I don't think your wife will be allowed on the shuttle fro CDG to the hotel. Boarding the bus requires us walking onto the tarmac so not sure if wife would be allowed to do that? It's a very long bus ride to the hotel, sometimes 100 minutes +, so if your wife takes the train she just might beat you to the hotel.

The good news is, it does everything for you. :D

The bad news is, you'll eventually forget how to do anything!

Just ask those Asiana guys how hard it is to hand fly a visual approach with no ILS backup, after years of never hand flying a visual approach with no ILS backup!

Hey DAL, did you find it in the contract or in one of those PBS newsletters?

Thanks!

PBS Notepad 12-02.

I also talked to PBS on how vacation slide might change with top down denial, and denying now left to right vs. right to left...
Vacation slide STILL works as per this notepad:

if you have vacation 10-16th, and you want it slid 3 days later, if not that then 2 days at least, you put
set condition vacation slide 2-3
and it will still try for 3 days, then 2. It's a great tool on coverage months to get the holidays off, a better chance than just "prefer off". Be sure you try a slide to fully cover Xmas (assuming that's your goal), and then try for 24th off, and then try for 16-23rd etc. End result is you MAY get a coverage trip that is maybe the 26th and on, vs 24th start, due to the slide.
Good luck!

Thanks,

Cogf16, someone recently (last 3 months) posted a pretty good run-down on taking wife to Paris. I can't remember who, but a search may find it. That's one problem with the "single thread forum"... you can't filter by say "RK replied in the thread" to find it heh.

Concur, that's what I use for "day of" or "day prior" real time commuting. It's only good 2 days out though, so can't be used for planning next month's bidding for commuters, unfortunately.

Thanks RK. That's exactly what I put in plus Else Start Next. I can get it off on RES but would prefer to fly around my vacation. My kids are young so Christmas is big.

Cheers!
