How does a pay work for a reserve month with vacation? Is the guarantee pro-rated based on days available? Then do we add the vacation value to that?

Example

Reserve guarantee is 72 hours
12 reserve days @ 4.5 hours per day equals 54 hours
1 week of vacation equals 22:45
54+22:45=76:45 hours for the month????

That looks about right. And don't forget that you can use bank time to "fill up" to the ALV also.. (not counting your vacation). If you play that right, and use your bank with the philosophy of an investor, you can get a really great rate of return. I filled mine up last fall. With a 4% and 8.5% payraise, the ROR that I got when I took it out for vacation is pretty hard to beat. Of course you have to be a saver, but the numbers work pretty well....

Go to the Delta Net Flight Ops page, click on your aircraft type, there should be all the info there you'll need, r.e. initial training, requal, recurrent, etc.

If you can't find what you need, find the Fleet Capt.'s phone number listed there, call him tomorrow, ask him to send you what you need. That's why they have an office job, to serve their fleet's pilots, so don't be shy, they can answer all your questions.

If you got Rick Rolled on this thread, you sold a real cool toy because it did not fit with the wife & kids or anything else ever happened bad to you, listen to this and feel better:

Here's the drivetrain that makes those noises:

It would take old school money to afford ... but jeesh ... that's nice.

Back in the early 70's there was a Berlinetta on a used car lot in FLL for 6,000.00. I thought it looked sorta beat up, and moved on. Been kicking myself ever since.
