wipes. I'll stay in LA, we have one or two but most are harmless decent dudes. I flew with a guy recently who told me that he'd only do one walk around a rotation. I said, "damn, that's unfortunate, I only do one per rotation also." Thankfully, he laughed....and did his fair share. |

In fact at one point I said "look, you've got one more stripe than me, so whatever... I'll do it if you're going to make a deal out of it. That being said, you need know that what you're saying is not standard and that's why people aren't doing what you expect them to do." Didn't help, though. |
I flew with a guy one time who was adamant that his way was the right way. When I pointed out where his "procedures" differed from the company's, he informed me that the company and Boeing were wrong and his way was the right way. All because he had an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the AF academy. It finally came down to, "Look. It says Delta on the side of the plane, and Delta on my paycheck. I'm doing it Delta's way. If it was your airplane and you were paying me, I'd do it your way."
