Oh, and I forgot this too. According to the Oneblood people here in Brevard county, Mexico trips do not put you off the list for donating. Roll up your sleeves my brothers and sisters :) It only hurts a little and the life you save may be your own or someone you love.

I'm fairly new at this, but I hit a gallon with my latest donation :)

Thanks. I was wondering about that. I just started giving a few months ago.

I think it's time Delta had our own sub-forum, up above. Even SW has their very own, and considering how much I hate the kitten molestors, that just won't do.

We could elevate the L&G to the very top of the APC world, as the crown jewel of this site and, indeed, the internets.

Hear hear!! here here? Either way... right on Sink!

Who do we call if we think vacation weeks were not correctly awarded? A week I asked for shows as available and I did not get that week, yes it was higher then my awarded choice.

This was from the last award, I discovered it when looking to bid today.

And it's a dangerous precedence, as an evolved society, to begin disregarding science.

Ed, ed. I won't call you naive...well...yes, I will.

Follow the money. Those "expert" scientists are beholden to those of a certain political bent who provide the funding. Of course they are spring-loaded to produce the conclusions that will bring more $.

You did refer to "climate change" scientists as in the "majority" and as "experts;" presciently, you did not identify them as "credible" or "unbiased."

Hopefully you employ a better-honed bull**** detector when you engage in union work on our behalf.

Wow, just read the latest ops update email. Sounds like a complete operational meltdown in Atlanta. I got the impression they tasked anyone in the building to rebuild broken rotations...with predictable results.

Well Purple, my old man was a biologist and was only beholden to the university which employed him. He says it's real. Just cause Delta pays my check doesn't mean I can't be critical if the company does something I dislike, which I consider analogous to your statement that peer reviewed scientists can't be unbiased.

Thanks for asking about that. I'll reengage with my local Red Cross people who denied me the last time I attempted to donate. Was at 2 gallons and would be well on my way to 3 if they hadn't turned me away.
