Snow on the Mountain
Over an inch of snow on our mountain so I couldn't get out to the liquor store. We may have to survive on food and water for a few days!

BMW X5. The roads were bad, but I've seen a lot worse. I'm not exactly sure of the conditions of the expressways though. After watching the news all afternoon, I realized no matter what you drive, it's kind of hard to drive on I-85, or I-75 when they are blocked by 3 semi's apiece. :D What really hurt was when they let the kids go to school, then sent out a mass text message, at lunchtime, telling parents that they would be dismissed in an hour, sending every working parent rushing out of their office, or lunch, at the same time -- adding to the gridlock. |

Anybody able to get home after rotation ending in ATL this afternoon? Not sked in until 2200... Might have to check out one of those lie flats parked in F!

Please everyone take a break from the forum and read FAR117. It covers this and it's not the same as part121.
Sometimes your only option is to declare yourself too fatigued and plead your case. |

There is truly only one way to solve this. http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/...snowmobile.jpg |
when you search snowmobile ad, you get snowmobile ads. When you search funny snowmobile ad, you find out naked women drive snow mobiles in the snow.
Good to know, maybe I should bid MSP. |

I don't see this as a forum for climate change discussion BUT since you brought it up and are so far off base... the reason that we have such cold temps in the south right now is because of a northerly flow over the pacific generated by WARMING ocean temps. Meanwhile record highs in Australia, pack ice in the Antarctic caused by a southerly flow in the Atlantic - again WARMING ocean temps.
It is rocket science. Data is easily accessed, do a little research. The earth has always warmed and cooled. That data is easily accessed as well. Gloopy has it right. |
