Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Delta’s Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share at its meeting in Atlanta this week as part of the airline’s plan to return more than $1 billion to shareholders in three years.

The dividend is payable to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Feb. 21 and will be paid on March 14.

Returning cash to shareholders is a standard practice among financially healthy companies and high-quality transportation businesses.

The "fleeting opportunity."
