Climate warming is nothing but a fig leaf for greenies to justify adding costs to our industry. Look at the European Tading Scheme and carbon offsets--huge tax money being taken here.

I don't see this as a forum for climate change discussion BUT since you brought it up and are so far off base... the reason that we have such cold temps in the south right now is because of a northerly flow over the pacific generated by WARMING ocean temps. Meanwhile record highs in Australia, pack ice in the Antarctic caused by a southerly flow in the Atlantic - again WARMING ocean temps.
It is rocket science. Data is easily accessed, do a little research. puhleeez. |

I don't have any problem with climate change in itself... the one thing that is constant about the earth's climate is that it is in a constant state of change and always has been. Heck, there were constant claims that we wouldn't have polar ice caps by now, but the trend vector changed again and we've got a massive rebound in antarctic ice.
I have major issues with the politicization of it and using it to push various political agendas and taxing schemes. |
The people collecting data and creating models have nothing to do with Michael More, Al Gore, Tax credits or politics. They are scientists period. And there is no question in their community regarding global warming. Regardless of where you lie politically it seems silly to deny that this is happening.

A recent Pew poll shows only about 6% of scientists self identify as Republican with 55% claiming Democrat. If you agree that belief in climate change correlates highly with Democrat party ideals, my question is this: Can scientists that are predominately Democrats be truly objective? |
Is there any chance the US Congress could hold global warming hearings this week, in rooms with open windows?
