I thought they just did it per the contract?

Seniority numbers will be assigned to individuals on the first day of their new-hire training in the following order:
a. b.
Company transferees will be assigned the lowest seniority numbers within the class, in order of their most recent date of employment with the Company, then
New-hires will be assigned seniority numbers on the basis of the last four digits of each individual’s social security number. Individuals with the higher numbers will be assigned the lowest seniority numbers.
Note: New-hires with identical last four digits of their social security numbers, and transferees with identical employment dates, will determine their relative placement by drawing numbers.

If memory serves, they did it wrong for a while in 2007 and it was a big deal and someone brought it to the attention of the powers that beans they corrected it.

July 2nd,'07 class is where it was discovered. We had to rebid in the second week of class. 2 of the 3 737s went to the new senior guys ( other guy was a transfer) and all of our NYC -88 became ATL -88s except for two or three.

The company offered those that got displaced around $1000.

And they actually had the July 16th class bid the old way then 2 days later they came in and had us rebid. The guy who went from junior to senior was only like 25 years old and the guy who went the other way from ATL 737 to NYC M88 was ticked. I was in the middle so I didn't care.

Does anyone know how we change an arrival time on an off line deadhead flight that was substantially delayed? ICREW only shows a drop down menu for DAL dispatched flights only?????

Bear in mind that what is available for SVAC was not necessarily available in the previous round.

Greens slip opportunities

Probably due to Atlanta being a hot mess, scheduling has neglected to assign short call to any NYC 7ER FO's tomorrow. I assume they will get around to it eventually but as of right now it looks like some green slips will have to go out for anything that pops open this evening for the morning...

Good luck!

That happened in the July 16 class. We found out at the ALPA pizza party. Some were happy, some were not, some were "meh."

Very interesting book that also mentions her trial, will scare the $hit out of you about getting into trouble in Italy. The book it self is about her prosecutor, but it shows what a wacko he is. She's probably not guilty, but with the evidence used against her we'll never know. Some of the theories used against her are really wild
