This last storm the trucks were south of ATL and missed out. They were probably watching the weather channel which nobody watches anymore since DirecTV ditched them.

I have directv, i guess I don't have the weather channel. The weather channel has gone hysterical demanding in ads I cancel directv or something.

Problem is, why do I care about the weather channel? They're a reality tv show. I'm not even sure if they show weather. I want to somehow say to both parties, the weather channel sucks and the app ain't that great either. I like how directv put it:

Most consumers don’t want to watch a weather information channel with a forecast of a 40 percent chance of reality TV. So with that in mind, we look forward to discussing an agreement to return the network to our lineup at the right value for our customers.
Besides, there is a new weather channel that's a lot like watching the weather channel 10-20 years ago. It's great.

the last man standing gets 777/744B, whichever they want.

Dude, how many times I got to tell you...

NO PICTURES!!

(that's a typical 777 crew in the briefing cubicle, just after we've settled who's getting the landing!)

The guy with the cigarette (a senior F/O) is about to say, "Yeah? So who's landing NOW? Get up Beoch! YOU are doing the walk around, trash bags, water bottles, figuring breaks, AND the plotting chart! You got a problem with that?" :D

My favorite line: "you people need to stop laughing at us down here in the south, we see snow only about as often as the rest of you guys win a BCS national championship."

I remember my first trip off TOE as a new hire. I walked into the briefing room and told the rest of the guys that my name is [FTB] and I heard that 2nd break was the best and I want to land this puppy, so I'll take both.

They appreciated me being so forward, so they said yes.

Then we got in the cockpit and the Captain said did you pull "the breaker?" And I said what breaker are you talking about? And then

Hey, I resemble that remark!

But in my mind, I resemble the guy with the cigarette! ;)

Jay Leno just got off a good shot.

He said FEMA finally showed up to help people in ATL, and they brought....Ice!

Who do we call if we think vacation weeks were not correctly awarded? A week I asked for shows as available and I did not get that week, yes it was higher then my awarded choice.

This was from the last award, I discovered it when looking to bid today.

You need to contact Crew Resources. Lynn Ivey is the vacation guru over there. Hopefully you have a screenshot of your bid that was submitted with a timestamp before the deadline. The next round closes in less than 10 minutes.
