Bingo! Part of the deal is that the TWC was trying to extort more money per subscriber. I wonder if I could talk Uverse into dropping the TWC, cut my bill by a buck and give me the weather channel that actually shows the weather when I turn to it.

Operation is still a disaster. Flights to all hubs from DFW either cancelled or hours late. One flight will have pilots but no FAs, the next is the opposite. No communication either. The gate agents are not aware of crew delays/issues until they don't show. Passengers way ****ed and rightfully so. Time for SD and RA to eat a little humble pie and put their backpacks on.

Trying to get from ATL home to AUS last night the 6:59pm cancelled and the 9:40pm flight slid in 15-20 min increments until they cancelled it at 11:50pm for no pilots. Lots of peeps looking for hotels after midnight last night. Finally got to the room around 1:30a. One cancelled this morning and everything else today showing negative seats for nonrevs. Fun stuff.

I've got a reserve question for you guys. I checked my schedule at 3 on my last off day and was assigned a 1200 short call the next day. Went to bed around 10p and shut my phone off. The next morning there was a message from scheduling asking me to acknowledge a trip that had a 1430 report time. They called around 12:15a. Went on to acknowledge and the trip was gone along with my 1200 short call. Just showed a res day. Was I required to answer my phone at midnight?

I have vacation this month and I used the "vacation any" bid. My question is, since they just laid my vacation over the days I wasn't flying, can I pick up a trip on the days that they put the vacation in there?

There are lots of crews just sitting around. Delta has lost the plot. Had about 20 DH flight attendants on our flight last night which dang near cancelled due to... no FA's. We came close to timing out with the extension. This thing needs to be post-mortem'd and a better plan needs to be in place for next time. Day 1 was understandable, even day 2, but we are on day 4 here in a new month, and it's still FUBAR. Kiss that shared reward goodbye for Jan, maybe Feb!

Also, my flight advance for this year is a couple hundred less than it was for last year after the same deductions... awesome!!!
