Same invitation to you, what is your Contract 2015 proposal? ... and please publish your opener, counter proposals, and what you'll settle for ... or are all of these the exact same number? For argument's sake, I'll publish mine .... "My Negotiating Committee speaks for me, I have given them my authorization to call a strike understanding that this is in effect handing them my resignation to use as they see fit if management is unwilling to reach a deal." A pilot contract that leads the airline industry in every measurable metric. Even if only by a small margin, but Delta pilots must lead it. Why? Because Delta leads the industry financially and operationally. Why is that? Because of pilot sacrifices and pilot operational excellence. Carl |

Actually, Delta wanted belligerent pilots who would strike over a flat tire, but another carrier had already hired them. ;)

Carl, when were you hired at Nwa? Not specific class date but range. 79-81 or 83-85 timeframe? Also, were you part of the terrible 20(Tanksley's lawsuit)in any form? Active participant, silent contributor, etc).
I am with NERD, I am wondering if you were part of the Tanksley lawsuit on any form? |

Please engage your elected officials on this. We can't stop them from buying fleets of wide body aircraft that clearly aren't supported by their demographics, but we can ensure that our government works on behalf of the citizens who pay its bills. |

The ME airline issue is purely a Washington issue. America has been for sale since the Declaration of Independence was signed.
I don't hold much hope on ALPA influencing that. Do you? First, we've outsourced OVER 50% of Delta branded flying. ALPA national refuses to even discuss that even though it's a huge threat to the majors and something not even wanted by the regional pilots. Second, the RLA protects railroads from having their contracts gutted in a bankruptcy. Airline labor is excluded from THAT portion of the RLA, but included in all the rest. Like being stuck with the NMB before we can strike, etc. We have the worst of all worlds now by having the threat of bankruptcy taking 50% or more from us in one bite, but then have to fight getting that 50% back due to the NMB's interference. This is the biggest threat of all, and again, ALPA is completely silent on the issue. Not a single word. No attempt at all to either make airlines totally part of the RLA, or remove us from it completely. IMO, our priorities are completely f'd up. Carl |

Same with your new signature...where did I ever say that? Carl |
