Face It, the money is in cargo. FedEx is in cargo. So if there was ever a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, it'd be at FedEx...

At least I'm amused by me

There are other factors too. They are non union. If they get bought by anybody other than DAL, they are screwed.

Why would DL *ever* give them a better deal than anyone else?

Yeah, a tougher union would have fought their company to reinstate as many furloughs as possible and get them back pay to boot...oh, wait.......

You are correct that a union that wasn't conflicted with one of its groups benefitting at the cost of another, would certainly have done a better job! Side letter after side letter after LOA bought the company all the time they desired and the rest was gravy. It was a small group that was forced back and received back pay. I received neither while the pilot rolls doubled at DCI. Was that you shiz saving our bacon? If so thanks shiz....how did we ever avoid BK??...oh wait:rolleyes:

And they will go the same way of every other Barbie Jet carrier that has tried it.. They are absolutely dependent on the legacies to feed them and probably more than that to pay for their fuel and departures and all that jazz.... That thought did briefly cross my mind too though, and then I thought about what their logistic swiss cheese was and realized they cannot afford to go it alone.

Has DALPA ever gone for the jugular? APA shows up with a stapler in hand. SWAPA has management in their back pocket. (that cooperation thingy that some here are so convinced won't work)

Anyone having trouble with deltanet right now? I'm on my third computing device and nada, cannot get on.

StormChaser 06-17-2013 09:27 PM

Can't get on to deltanet either. Keeps telling me my password is incorrect, even though it's not. Tried going to the "forgot password" link and it can't even load that webpage.
