Obviously memory does not serve any of us well, me included. When I think back to C2000 and the post 9/11 days, it all kind of blends together. One thing I do remember is that Leo and Fred were idiots lacking in ethics.
Anyone else remember BK-proof retirements and retention bonus for the worthy few. Retention bonuses by the way, paid to execs who left anyway. Scoop |
December schedules are out.
Looks like another traditional Check Essential Yuletide celebration. Christmas at the airport hotel. http://filmonic.com/wp-content/uploa.../Bad-Santa.jpg |
But wait ---
Flt Ops is giving Mrs. Check Essential an S2B pass. Hmmm.... http://images.fanpop.com/images/imag...16_500_606.jpg |

I just launched www.getflightschedules.com. It's a very basic site that does exactly what you need. Going to be adding more features in the future, but my goal is to keep it simple.

Post them then... I don't think there are. We went over about 10 recently, and they all have flaws-- they do 3 days out only, or don't have all airlines like SWA, or show all codeshares as diff flights, or have multiple pages, or etc...
I've asked multiple times about good 2 month out commuter planning flight schedule sites; if you have one that fits the bill, post it please. but fyi, flighttrack, flightaware, Nextflight, crewpass, passrider, matrix, kayak, and esky all have issues making them poor. |

What would you call NEWCO (Compass)?
B Scale, but not even on the property? It had nothing to do with the 1998 strike which was at least partly over allowing mesaba to have 36 ARJs limited to 69 seats. CRJ-200s were limited to 44 seats except for some that were coupled to the mainline aircraft count that could be 50 seats. That was undone in bankruptcy, and newco was a major sticking point in the concessions negotiations. As it turns out, the newco (compass was the final name) planes have far more range and viability than the dc-9s they replaced. |
Interesting that today, according to the fleet page on Delta net that the DC-9, per-sear-mile, is the most profitable aircraft we operate. At least that's what the fleet chief pilot wrote last summer on 'the -9 iron' update.
