Carl, when were you hired at Nwa? Not specific class date but range. 79-81 or 83-85 timeframe? Also, were you part of the terrible 20(Tanksley's lawsuit)in any form? Active participant, silent contributor, etc).

Carl made the point that Delta was/is looking for certain traits (or the absence of certain traits) during the psych eval. Maybe I fooled the shrink and slipped through the cracks, but as a former South guy, I don't think Carl is remotely controversial by stating that. Otherwise, why would Delta invest big money for that evaluation?
Seems to me that the folks who are most up-in-arms about Carl's assertion are acting extremely defensively. Why is that? |
It's not a slip up, and I don't have disdain for my fellow pilot group, regardless of the words folks like you want to put in my mouth. Carl Notice I took out the word "south?" Quit f'n referring to a subset of pilots within our seniority list by what pre-merger airline (air line) they worked for. Do you walk the concourses, with your 'whale buds" calling people Pan Am, Western, Eastern, Southern, Republic, Greenie, or Blue? All of us are over the merger. SLI, & as of Jan. 1st, 2015, you will be flying with them too. God forbid you get displaced by one. :eek: |
I was in a sports bar in the middle of Atlanta when that Auburn receiver had that pass tipped into his hands. The Dawg fans who had been yelling "Georgia! / Bulldogs " at the top of their lungs went into shock. I swear, one lady turned blue. I've never seen anything like it. Wow.
