Bull. I saw them in a movie where they came back to life and attacked people.

Fake. Hollywood made that movie to scare you about the coming dinosaur apocalypse. What you really need to worry about is Sasquatch.......that guy on Discovery really found one last year. There is a special coming up to prove it.

Have you guys ever heard of the Cincinnati Creation Museum? ;):D

Yeah. Never been there though. I find the extreme far right to be about as annoying as the extreme far left. I might believe in dinosaurs though. Apparently, there is a movie that proves they existed.

The concerning thing to me about this debate is how science is often disregarded. The overwhelming majority of scientists around the world, who are experts in this field, and have no political motive, agree that climate change is a real phenomenon and is most likely due to man-made pollutions. And it's a dangerous precedence, as an evolved society, to begin disregarding science.

Global warming is a theory. "Science" without the scientific method, isn't science. So far, we have observation and hypothesis. There's been no experimentation and verification.

I've seen temperature predictions based on orbital wobbles and solar output that had a pronounced temperature spike in the late 20th century. Granted, a rival hypothesis that also can't be tested by the scientific method.

6 inches of snow in MSP this morning. My half-hour drive to the airport took 1 1/2 hours to drop my wife off for a trip she's taking to visit family. Time to pull out the snow blower again. Oh, and the 4WD F-150 was a necessity this morning.

Fortunately for us her flight is taking off 3 hours late.

Hey, Elvis! It was great seeing you the other day!

(Yes, folks. That's right. I had an Elvis sighting. ;) )

Nice of you to volunteer to take the Jumpseat to fit another passenger on board too. Elvis is in the building!

At least you know your filters are working.

Anybody else read that nonsense about backpacks?

I thought backpacks were banned in the FOM.

OK that's funny.

WRT the second one, every time I observe ramp operations at any airport in that market, its just so screamingly obvious that you don't need more workers, you need better work from your workers. You could probably cut staffing by half and still get a better job done if people hussled and cared as in a truly ingrained work ethic. Of course you'd have to pay more. The economic evidence that raising the minumum wage in general increases income inequality and unemployment is indisputable. That said, I'm all in favor of giving NYC below the wing a raise. A big one in fact. Provided they hussle for it and actually G.A.S. as opposed to the slow crawl of indifference you see at every gate with every airline there. While ATL has gotten a little better, the same thing applies there as well.

That might have been just me walking through the ATL crew room the other day. I didn't have my hat, so I was kind of sheepishly strutting.
