I think a buddy of mine at RAH said it was 4 hours of holiday pay on top of whatever you made that month. Sure that's like a $100 for some but hey, it was still 4 hours on top and not lost in the "towards guarantee" ambiguity language. |

Fixed your post.
Why were you worried about the dawgs, but excited about Bama? You been drinkin'? http://imageshack.us/a/img854/1089/0xxk.jpg Actually, I have to live in Dawg world and that's why I was petrified of losing AGAIN. If I lived in Birmingham or Montgomery or Huntsville then it'd be different. And it's never fun being the favored team in a rival game. It's more fun to be the underdog who is supposed to lose by 10 and know that's what's been thrown in everyone's face for two weeks. |

Any wonder he wanted to open Section 6 early? Played? Yup. I guess you could say we got a 2, 8 1/2, 3, 3 percent pay raise compounded and if you feel that wasn't enough I understand but let's not exaggerate the facts. |

Why I agree that ALV+15 for domestic categories was a concession, I can't agree that something that has been in effect for a little over one year has prolonged our stagnation. They had a several goals. Make a 1st qtr profit, & make the S&P 500. They weren't going to recall or hire anyone until they achieved those things.
Once again, you attempt to justify every poor ALPA decision and spin it or downplay it. Face it: We got skinned on C12. We already know all we need to about their goals: pay us as little as possible and squeeze as much out of us as possible. What about our goals? Tell me, johnso29, what are your goals for the next contract? Not management's goals, not ALPA's goals. Your goals. Perhaps a nice, hearty pat on the back? All-you-can-eat popcorn (funded by profit sharing givebacks, of course) and a new shoe shine machine in the lounge? |

My point is this whole issue was originated by the company. Basically they are saying "We are way short." So what is to stop individual Pilots from thinking - this is a great opportunity for GSWC - all initiated by the company.
Scoop Whether or not you personally would or would not fly a GS at any time, you cannot even begin to tell other guys what they should or should not do, unless the union leadership has explicitly defined struck work and has called for a withholding of service IAW the Railway Labor Act. Anything else is illegal. That |
