Second question. Can we jump seat on United/Continental internationally? I want to go from EWR-LIS.
UAL is a breeze to jump on. I've taken them SEA-NRT-ICN, MUC-IAD, and PVG - SFO. You can walk up to the gate and list. I've never gotten first on them, but every time I've gotten their economy plus or business.

I couldn't help you with any BA info.

I remember reading something years ago about British Airways not joining the EZed ticket program nor taking paper tickets, thus not being able to non-rev on them. I looked through the Interline section of DeltaNet and couldn't find anything either.

But we would get better deals on Air France anyway, since we have a JV pricing, which is even cheaper than Zed fares. I think between KLM and AF you'd be set anyway, unless BA is the only carrier available for your departure city.

I had my non-rev privileges threatened for disagreeing with the 5 second answer I was given when trying to get a refund--they wouldn't even look up the ticket code to confirm that it WAS refundable, they just disagreed and then threatened me when I pressed them to look it up.

You can find normal Delta tickets online for less, also.
DO NOT USE THE EMPLOYEE "FLY FOR LESS"!!!!!
Yikes! I just tried to do it and it was double the price of what I can get on a travel website. Im not surprised though. I find that almost everything on the employee perks site is more expensive than anywhere else.

Sheesh!! It's been 4 hours since Carl posted this and nobody responded. The only thing missing is a cheese rack. Well...maybe you could put some cheese in her rack!!! Nice find Carl. (-:

If you want some cheese with Carls find, buy it from Beehive cheese in Ogden. One of our very own has close ties to this company.

Default Investors Conference

Just remember, management is selling it as a permanent reset. Stay humble. Don't get greedy.

"We also understand the importance of keeping all of our people together and investing in our people and in that labor and in the success that drives the improvements that you've seen in the business. This is not a company that still has any debts to pay, bills coming due on the labor front. Do you think this means we will get a turkey sandwich for Christmas now?

Umm. No.

Not that it is relevant, however, this is airline number three. One regional and two majors. This is the only one that does not have holiday meals in the lounges for pilots. Apparently they do for everyone else.

At the other airlines, the turkey dinner was for all the employees on duty in one lounge together.

We are truly numbers here.
