Thanks for the math.

This is how I started:
As a very junior, narrow body captain starting my 28th year I'm fortunate.

Not a complaint at all.

It was all about profit sharing and compensation.

Forget it. I'm done

Wait 'til you see the lego movie. Another song you'll want to forget, but a cute flick.

I thought Frozen was a bait and switch. It was a musical. And although Dr Rick Marshall said "I love showtunes, they really tell the story of the human condition." I don't.

2/6/87 hire
Ok I did just that and I used the last person in your hire class of 2/6/87. I also used the current seniority list and category list for February. This is what I found that you could hold and at what level.
(These are all ER categories)

ATL- 426/450
DTW- 150/190
LAX- 140/175
MSP- 146/168
NYC- 193/306 (Best seniority and solid lineholder)
SEA- 126/132
SLC- 81/87

So it looks to me that you/he can hold widebody Captain in every base. Just not a lineholder and commuting to reserve is not enjoyable.[/QUOTE]

The original post said he could hold "any widebody position and are kings on the ER". That is not true. My seniority can only hold a junior ER position and NO WB position above that.

Maybe they should be blaming the 744 Captains for not retiring at 60, if that's what he means by "widebody"? I mean, 61% of them are past 60 and still hanging on...

Maybe FTB is stuck in the snow, not snookered on Torpedo and can gin up a cool graphic showing where the over 60 folks are sitting?

Once again you miss the point. Yes, we can hold junior ER. The OP said we could hold "ANY WB position". That means 777,744,330,764,767,757. That is untrue. However, if he is thinking fdal '86 they can and do hold all the above (744 still fenced). Not sour grapes, I'm past that.

My 14 year old son tortures us by singing..."Do you want to kill a snooowman..? Do you want to kill theeemm allll...?" Drives his two 10 and 8 year old sisters nuts...his retribution for being forced to go and watch Frozen...

Looks like the A lines for MAR are out via the back door.

Standing by for regularily scheduled back door double entendre jokes....

Front door is open now too - though you can still use the back door if that's your thing

I can do this. After the kids go to bed but remember there are junior over 60 folks too. So I guess I could grab top 1/2 of seniority and graph those. Probably needs to be bar charts and separated by base or it'd be too huge. Or I guess I could do aircraft.
