Do the ANA guys wear smoke goggles for the whole flight, or just lining up for takeoff?

I'm domestic narrow body. The minimum pattern for bidding in my category is three days on call.

Does this mean that I don't have to comply with the minimum days on call to personal drop? For example, I can hold Saturday and Sunday off on X days. Could I then personal drop a Wednesday the previous week or subsequent week?

If you get a GS that transitions into next month with a lot of credit time can you have that credit time paid in the current month or do you have to have it apply to the next month? REG this month RES next month and would rather have 2X pay for the credit instead of just above the cap next month.

Operative part of my statement was "used to be". Even before I worked for DAL, I remember DAL doing that and others not so much. Sorry if you found it so insulting. It was a cultural observation.

Unfortunately you cannot. Hopefully you are on off days for the portion of the trip in your reserve month. If not, that credit is applied to your reserve guarantee if the last day of your trip is an on call day.

Not that I see. Where are you looking?

If it hasn't changed from when I enjoyed the 'Iraq War Vacation' then he's right. You get recalled to what is available. You then can bid on an AE immediately with no freeze to hold you on he aircraft you returned on.

I'll find it, I know it happened for an absolute fact. I was watching the category closely and was even denied an LAX bid right after LAX 73N's were awarded to returning pilots.

I've had a tough time finding the awards, but I'll dig it up. I know others on here saw it happen as well, as returning awards. Not AE's.

As I said, gentlemen, the Company has the option of putting him into a new hire position, i.e., an unfilled vacancy, or allowing him to go to a category of his choosing that he is senior enough to hold.

Read all about it in 21 C. of the PWA.

And the furlough recall guys in LAX were relatively senior. I think that 5 guys accepted recall but then 1 guy resigned after accepting. The 4 that came back were all around 30-40 out of about 75 Pilots.
