Also, we finally eliminated the B-Scale somewhere in the late 90's, MID CONTRACT. In that LOA, we also eliminated profit sharing and converted it to pay.

When you trade scope for bargaining credits ... it is a sale.

Recall I have posted the bankruptcy transcripts here before. Want them up again, or you want to simply search this thread?

For Northwest, look at your 10-4 zipline.

Yes, I believe so. The company announced they were going to furlough up to 1400. I remember Leo's press conference, he seemed almost giddy about it, declaring FM was in effect. It made me sick, because many of my Crash pad roommates were furloughed.

I may be one contract off on the scope however if that is correct it reinforces my point even more. Hard to sell scope back then when you did not have it.

There were contractual limitations, maybe some of the victims of "Force Manure" can enlighten us. I just flew with a 2001 hire yesterday.
First 400 went out Nov 1, 2001.

I think you are correct. I am not at home to reference the contracts.

Thanks, Jay, I wasn't sure when they started. There was a couple of Trump Shuttle/USAir captains in my crash pad as well who ended up being furloughed as well. That was a real eye opener. It's what spurred me to start looking at a plan B.

That's what I was getting to, if the furloughs were from 2000-2001 DOHs then they didn't even get to vote on a contract prior to their furlough.

Yeah, I bet most pre-911 hires here can remember when they started really looking into plan B. My very concerted efforts started with the USAir attempted takeover.
