Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
The negotiating committee could still come up with an agreement over the weekend or even early next week.
You think the reps are going to vote to extend the MEC meeting over the weekend into the following week just to comply with said policy? Or do you think they might vote to waive the 7 day review period?
Just sayin.

The F/O says it, not the taxiing Capt and it takes all of 20 seconds, hardly a significant distraction. I appreciate the civil response, mine might have been a little over the top.
I have very very high doubts on these ER FO awards getting bumped this fall. The chances of that happening are up there with BB voluntarily bidding the MD88 or tsquare bidding an airbus! There are too many planes coming online for any sort of bumps to happen... yet. Eventually there will be, just not this soon.
The big question I have is when are we going to see some premium and super premium widebody slots open up?

All this 787 talk.... This is who will be flying those 787's... We better get a handle on it yesterday!
I'll find it, I know it happened for an absolute fact. I was watching the category closely and was even denied an LAX bid right after LAX 73N's were awarded to returning pilots.
I've had a tough time finding the awards, but I'll dig it up. I know others on here saw it happen as well, as returning awards. Not AE's.

From Andy Hummel, Crew Resources, when I asked him where furlough returns were going (so we could bid appropriately and not get surprised/pushed out of a cat that had looked good). Not from DeltaNet:
The furlough pilots have the ability to return to a category if there is mutual agreement between the pilot and the company. If there is not a mutual agreement the furlough returns are placed in an entry level position.
Here is a list of the positions we will be offering to the furlough returning pilots. They will not have a seat freeze and can bid off as soon as they return. The positions being offered are the positions where we will continue to grow in the future (717, 73N) and where their seniority can hold.
Our goal is to minimize the training churn. Obviously placing the returning pilots all on the 717 would waste 717 training slots as they quickly bid off. We feel these positions will allow the pilots to return to a position they will remain in for at least the short-term.
I hope this helps answer your questions.

Why is it so hard to read the LAG thread about Delta? It seems to shrink (spatially) more and more every day. At 16000 threads it may require reading glasses. Or maybe I need them anyway?

From: Cockpit speaker volume knob set to eleven.
Got the 320A robocall looking for volunteers to cancel their vacation for April.
They could also debate the TA during the meeting and agree to reconvene via conference call after the seven days.
