Never mind, some might not share my sense of humor.

Dropped a trip, now at 60 hours creditable to gs trigger, which is at 72. Am I correct that if I get a trip on a gs, the first 12 hours is straight pay and the rest is double pay. Just getting strategy down. Thanks

That is correct however you can pull 5 hours out of the bank even if you have to go negative toward the GS trigger.

True, but as someone else posted, you can borrow up to five hours out of your bank (going negative, if needed) in order to help get your credit towards the gs trigger.

Most importantly, green slip accounting is not done until the month has concluded. So, you could drop everything, have a line value of zero (I know several guys who do this, though it is somewhat rare) fly a GS as your first trip of the month, and so long as you white slip, swapboard pickup etc, the rest of your flying up to the gs trigger, it will still pay double.

Or as one captain told me, "now that I got a green slip, I need to get a white slip to protect the green slip!"

Anybody buying bricks?

ACL65 helped a lot of people here. I was thinking of buying a "thank you" brick. Does anyone want to pitch in and make it a big one?

The people in the Delta Museum are all so skinny.

They should get an old CRJ200 out of IRK and cover it with foam and put it in the museum as a kiddie jumping playground attraction.

No one is talking about the disappearing Malaysian Airlines flight. Thoughts? Anyone? I'm unfamiliar with the area in terms of radar and comm coverage. I just saw on the news that 2 of the pax weren't on the airplane because their passports were stolen/lost. They didn't say if passengers using the stolen passports had checked in with the airline for the flight though (Theives boarding in pax place). Looking on the map it doesn't look like there is a ton of water to fly over.

I would suspect that 8 out of 10 airliners that crash in cruise flight without a distress call had some type of explosive onboard.
