In your case, you got one out of two so you needn't complain.

You can see the change to the aft galley that they are doing, too. Interesting. I hear the 319s will now seat around 132, which will shift the 320s in the same manner to 156. Those aft lavs look pretty tiny, though.

Looks great. Too bad as it appears we lost an F/A JS. Those come in handy now and then.

I'm sure of it! The whole time I was standing there talking to them about Delta and flying and answering their many questions like, "Is it hard to be a pilot?" I was thinking...dammit, my daughters are older than these kids!

And the F/A's I get to fly to Dubai with could all be MY MOM!

I'm sure they were all just as hot when they were new hires, but that was in 1965!

I flew a trip with a two digit FA last month that was hired the same month I was born...almost 50 years ago.

As for me I was given a SC and did not acknowledge until 9 hrs prior. I had a discussion with a supervisor as the first scheduler who wanted me either to take the original start to the sc as I called in voluntarily even though it was less than 10 hrs, or take a PD. The supervisor slipped the sc so I would be in compliance, but it took a bit of talking and coming up with alternatives.
I tried to uphold the contract by not acknowledging a short call conversion until past the 10 hr window (PWA requires acknowledgement 1 hr prior). Called crew skeds and fully expected a PD, but they just rolled back the short call back to a later start time.

I showed one of those new hire F/A's a picture of our number 1 F/A, Bob, who is 89 now...they were shocked, they couldn't believe he is still flying! Neither can I.

I don't know what dirt he has on who, but some how he keeps getting through their recurrent program.
