Seriously though, it's has to be a pressurized plane, that photo was clearly taken at FL 290 (I know FL290 when I see it, because I fly that high with the 739 all the time)

The second from the top is clearly a Russian jet.
I'm sure it's the new Sukhoi T-50.

Cheers
George
Yeah, no way you were at 290 in the Douglas MD37-900

Agreed, particularly as the FAA definition of block time does require movement under the aircraft's own power.

Yep.

The MIG 29N and SU 30 were the outliers.

Wonder how the F22 did against the SU30 MKM. I'd have to think that might give it a run for it's (our) money

How in the world did they ever decide who was lead?

I'm sure the Raptor will handle the SU just fine.

Have done it twice on Cape Air. They use 9 seater C402. All went well but don't be surprised if the CA,making $12 an hour, looks to be 20 yrs. old. Also, on time service to them is same day service.

But wait! That's where our PWA comes in...
Our PWA also protects us by requiring that any reroute include a full copy of the new rotation and by having no mention of airport standby. IOW, you cannot be made to sit at the airport indefinitely waiting for Crew Tracking to assign you more flying.

Obviously, if there is not even a layover hotel on your rotation, you're in a bit of a pickle until you can get ahold of someone, but keeping you in limbo for an extended period of time (even within your PWA max duty day) is a contractual foul.
