Schedules?

What is up with the schedules? The FNWA jets had their schedules 2 days ago. The BP5 gang is still waiting. I didn't think it was that hard. Is this just another case of Delta...bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow? Anyone?

The schedules do not have to be released until the 17th.

I've seen NYC MD88 Bs get released the first day while everyone else waits. And I've also waited until the 17th for my schedule.

I'm sure they are working on your schedules and as soon as they're ready they will publish them.

Sometimes, it isn't Delta. Remember the union looks over them before you get to see them.

Man... the NYC ER awards are a pretty high level of stinky. That is a huge amount of reserves!

KC10 FATboy 10-16-2009 11:11 AM

Couldn't that be indicative of the loss of flying in the NYC ER category?

NERD 10-16-2009 01:55 PM

Dtw 330 worse than stinky. Total Bull****. 97 reserves out of 230. To hold a line you had to be 58% or better. A lot of us would have VD off the plane had we known that we would be reserve. I thought that you were safe if you were 70% or better? If they are going to carry this many reserves I guess it is time to bid ER F/O to be a line holder. Bring back the seperate block/reserve. Please tell me this is not the normal way Delta runs things.

No it isn't. This is what happens when you have extra pilots.

You gotta have lines to have line holders. Looks like you'll be sitting around a lot. The domestic lines are much higher and the reserve levels much lower.

It is the real deal if AMR will not move.

In my opinion this is why Delta South bases are a lot less stratified by DOH on equipment from Highest to lowest. If you want to be guaranteed a line, you better bid something you are way up on the list. I would imagine over time both sides will look like that unless we can get a block/reserve system.
