Why? What did they do to deserve the lion's share of the pie other than not get fired for a longer time than anyone else?

I think you misunderstood me. We Delta pilots should be the best compensated. We all contribute to Delta's revenue, from the guy hired yesterday to the guy hired 40 years ago.

And there are 100 ways to do that, that's why we are having the discussion.

If you don't think you are occupy a de facto entry level management position as an LCA, you are far more deluded by that lanyard than even I had suspected.

I guess "you and I have nothing to say to each other."
How old ARE you, really?

Of all the people on here, you are the most immature, childish person behind a keyboard.

I'd be willing to bet you haven't even been here more than about 6 years.

fair enough. my apologies. And I am glad that we are hashing this out. Many of these opinions do give food for thought. (not that our opinions will mean anything to the negotiators... )

Can we all at least agree the 747 (-800 in this case) will always look better than the Homer Simpson forehead A380? Too bad in a few years we won't have any (or at least the Delta side of Skyteam won't have any). Anyway, the 757 and 747 will always be two of the best looking planes IMHO. What's your favorite looking commercial airliner besides "the one that pays the most money"?

My guess he's a 744A with over 30 years.

What if we all use our own names?? And stand behind what we say.

From (in general terms) what level of the rumor mill?

I don't believe it, if even remotely true.

What is scary about that scenario is that it would be the perfect time for a purchase of another airline, for them.

2-3 years into a stalled section six and we wake up to a merger with Alaska.

Talk about major distraction. And, no incentives like we gained during the last merger to seal the deal.
