Wow. They were able to obtain a lifetime supply of wine and Kit Kat bars in one year?

Pretty impressive.

The job wasn't what they expected. Many were sent to NYC. The cost of living was too much. Another reason given was they were flying a lot more hours than they had been told to expect.

I'm betting commuting problems. There was a wonderful woman working at a Mexican Food place we haunt a lot. She was hired, told to expect New York as a base and quit prior to training. I think she got on with USAir and is driving to work.

Didn't they hire nothing but speakers for the first several classes? Dream about going to Paris, then go to Jackson:D

Frankly ... dealing with the passengers is difficult enough.

IMHO, dealing with their co-workers is probably the final straw.

Did not happen. Posted as a rumor on the flight attendant side of Delta net a while back. Attrition was something like 50 total.

LMAO!!! You're so correct about long sleeve shirt guys. Tsquare & Carl don't get it because they are probably long sleeve wearers.

Actually, I don't wear them very much because I tend to run a little hot, so I tend to roll them up anyway. There is nothing to "get". I find it really fascinating that there is this undertone of "toolishness" for about those that wear long sleeves. Those that have that attitude are childish. And I understand that some of you feel that we are nothing more than bus drivers, and in your opinion it is perfectly acceptable to act accordingly. It is funny that when the subject of compensation comes up, somehow we magically transform into irreplaceable gods. It's a package deal. Either you are a "professional" in all aspects of your working life, or you are not. If earbuds, colored hair and flaunting your disdain for the company required uniform is OK with you, then you shouldn't be surprised that you are not taken too seriously in other aspects of that working life. It's your choice. I really don't care.

The cute ones snagged their well-to-do first class passenger sugar daddy.

^^^^^

Flew a trip that had a newhire from NYC working with 2 very senior FA's from ATL. They treated that poor girl like crap.

They were giving her a bad time about her uniform being "too revealing". I guess she altered the top or something and they thought it was too tight. I so wanted to ask if they had altered their size 38 pants to be tight to show off their 35 years of 4 first class meals and all you can eat Kit Kat's every leg.
