The dream sequences should be our boarding music.

How about this, whatever improvement we get in an area only counts toward the cost of our contract if it isn't given to the other employee groups.

The system at UPS and Fedex involves when they are purchasing a ticket for a pilot on a passenger airline. It really does not relate to a DH deviation at Delta. I am not sure the benefit to bank DH's other then priority over other pilots or employees. Getting PS deviations on any DH was a nice benefit we were able to negotiate. I doubt a bank system would fly.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I'm a commuter and generally get behind anything that helps commuters...half the airline, but over time, I have become less "pilot centric" in my thought processes. We have the Jumpseat, we have the old commute policy, and we have call in honest. If I can't get to work using one of those, I dunno. I disagree with diluting an already diluted nonrev system for a selfish system which disables coworkers from enjoying their earned privileges. That's just me. I will always happily sit in an unoccupied Jumpseat to get someone else on.

I understand rolling thunder and will attempt it but with a lower ALV and slower month it might be difficult.
Just need some direction from someone in the know here...
Thanks
Yes. Your number of X days will be reduced. There is a pro-rated X days chart in the bid packet. If you have 7 days of vacation, then you now only have 24 days of availability in the bid period. So with a 31 day bid period, a 77:45 hour ALV, and 23-25 days of availability you would receive 10 X days, 5 of which are GDs. This is assuming you don't receive the extra X day due to greater than 20% reserves.

This commuter agrees.

I guess ALPA will return my call back, but it's been nearly eight hours and I was hoping to figure this out today to start on my bid before tomorrow's schedule get in the way.

Looked in the contract and I did not see how NQAT (non qualified) days are handled for credit/pay. I have NQAT days at the beginning of the month, training days, and then shadow days. Training's worth 3:45 a day for each day I'm scheduled for actual training, but what's the NQAT pay? From earlier posts I get that the shadow days pay whatever I can get scheduled in them.

Do the shadow days get pushed to the right if your training is eventually scheduled to be a day or two longer than what is showing on your PBS bid calendar, or do they just disappear? (i.e. I think I'll have some off days from training in between classrooms/sims; right now in PBS the training days have the whole training scheduled without an off day in there).

The banking deviate dh resolution was shot down today in half a heart beat. (and I agreed.)

The other 3 resolutions also failed because the makers were not there to present them. I agreed with the room that if one makes a resolution, then one needs to be there to present it.

No one wants to present/argue the merits of a resolution that they didn't create.

I am a commuter too. I do not like this idea of a bank system either. Seems like the author lives in an area that is full of nonrevs (mco). This would give him an unfair advantage over others with more seniority by giving up a deadhead from a city that might not have as much competition. It is already tough enough to nonrev to high traffic cities.
