I just drove from dca to the atl. The police are everywhere!! Lots of tickets being written on this labor day. There were 10 georgia state patrol cars on the 85 between the road atlanta exit and gwinnett center. Local and county po po the rest of the way. Drive safe!!

The only reason i didn't get a ticket was my wife's use of the waze app. Drivers ahead of us were plotting cops on the map. We just had to slow down as we approached!! I love this app!!!!!

Then on the N'Side we have red light cameras ... Roswell has been caught repeatedly lowering the timing of the yellow light from what I believe was reported as 6 seconds prior to the installation of the ticketing device to around 2 seconds. Even the Governor got involved in trying to fix the issue.

The science on speeding was settled a while back. The vast majority of traffic accidents are not caused by "speeding" but by vehicles who's speed varies from the norm -- faster or slower.

It's all about budgets.

I have a brother who is a long term cop on his way to chief. We talk all the time and I hang out often on dive trips with all his cop buddies. Not sure however why you think stating you have a highway patrol to watch the interstates makes me a expert but thanks for the credit! My brother was given the job of researching camera systems. He gave them a big thumbs down!
