Now, how about we 'leverage' this to FIX our JV imbalance?
There's nothing to leverage here.

The only problem with fixing the JV imbalance is that they are currently and forecast to be in compliance going forward. They are out of compliance for the 36 month look back.

It was also stated that Delta would likely need to hire indefinitely for the foreseeable future, but the key is that the board approved hiring only up to May 2015. 340 pilots in 2015 equals exactly 85 new hires per month through April.

Stop it with all of this nonsense! You guys are completely getting in the way of people creating conspiracies and working themselves into frenzies about how ALPA has probably already agreed to something awful to solve this obvious tragedy we are being set up for by the company. Why do you guys insist on actually reading the information that is regularly provided to us and then on remembering it on top of that?

A bunch of buzzkills I tell ya!

I just talked with two friends on the whale. They are old and don't speak French. Thinking about NYC on the ER. I wonder how many others living in the NE have the same thoughts.
I doubt you will ever get displaced off the 7ER to smaller equipment. The fleet plan overlayed with pilot retirements does not support that happening.

This forum exists to complain about DALPA and the company. Since things are going far better then even the DALPA forecasts with contract 2012 the posters have to grasp at every straw they can find.

I don't know, and I don't particularly care, considering our contract will be re-negotiated Section 6, and the survey is leaving several key sections wide-open.

If this was a slow month, maybe I'd be more interested in debating ER programs.
So we are not buying anything then?

I know only 377 have taken the survey, but this is is mind boggling to me. We all tout that scope is the most important thing for us, and yet if these are to be believed it isn't even in the top 3 for most people. Pay, retirement, and work rules beat it out.

Are you sure you're not having a stroke? One more question like this, and you'd have to be declared incapacitated.

We. are. not. buying. an. ER. program. We. are. selling. them one. Maybe. we. could. get. more. but. I. don't. care. Let's. focus. on. the. survey. Survey. Survey. Survey.

Love him or hate him, Carl adds a ton to the discussion here.

It's a sad state of affairs at APC when moderators don't act impartially.

Johnso you, like the ALPA, have a serious credibility problem.
Wow...that's pretty harsh!

I didn't think it was Carl who posted that picture, he only made a (funny) comment about it! A bit thinned skin Johnso? Heck, there wasn't even any under/over boob in that pict!

Free Jesse...and Carl too!

I do see the logic in just going ahead and offering the early out, and also see the logic in holding the company to just displace. I would rather not see an unnecessary cascade of displacements, though.
