Is there any place you can see the breakdown of what was deducted? I should have 15% to 401K, but I find it hard to believe the other 45% went to taxes.

25% fed tax
DPMA
ALPA dues
etc.........

and any deposits to other inst's......they take those out like a regular check!

Yes. They will post a separate "check stub" for the profit sharing.
Probably tomorrow.

Can't see anything right now. DeltaNet is useless. I think the server is swamped.

25% Fed tax
Highest marginal state tax rate (GA = 6%)
FICA = 7.65%
ALPA = 1.9%
DPMA

For me = PS Gross - 401k - 40.55% - DPMA dues

Who do you bank with?

Chase does not show any deposits until the day of the deposit

OK...I guess it makes sense then. This is my first PS check, so I was just trying to figure out how it works. Thanks, guys!

USAA...just says "pending," but shows up in your checking account balance like it's there.

I was able to get on via the separate iCrew page, from there to Flt Ops. Regular paycheck is there, but not PS.

As far as GS vs WS, the reason guys fill up with WS's is that they are junior and they realize they will never see a GS, so they fill up at straight pay and take away "your" GS. The temerity!

That is a compelling reason to have a system where you just put in WS and all flying over certain thresholds pays a premium. You could even have it such that guys projected above 80 (for example) go after guys projected under.

That way you don't have the "do I put in for a GS or WS?" decision, where the pilot has to make a best guess based on a lot of factors, and after the fact never has to say "had I but known that junior guys were getting GSs then I wouldn't have put in a WS"... or vice versa.

I'm not even sure that I am in favor of such a system. All pay systems have their pros and cons. But this is a discussion that will no doubt continue.

That seems more fair. But a been-counter would prefer the current system vs paying everyone 1.5x over 80. Plus, there has to be a carrot for picking up a trip on short notice.
