Yes, I do have screenshots of it, however the point is that PWA 23.Q.13 allows them to remove/change a GS, even one that you have acknowledged, up to 2 hours prior to report without owing the pilot any guarantee $. I had no idea that they could do that. The only potential compensation is for any trip that you would have been awarded but were not due to the GS being on your line that was then later removed.

Checked my checking account this morning. You will be pleasantly surprised. It was more than I was anticipating.

we need this to change in this contract. we acknowledge the green then we are responsible. we get babysitters, drive, flight commute......acknowledged=paid for both line and reserves. IMO

The contract guys at DALPA can view the exact history and tell you what happened. There is no way the computer showed you for a GS if you had a WS in.
I agree with sailing.
There's a piece missing from this puzzle.

All the north guys I fly with make sense. A min day for everything and 1.5 for anything flown over 75 hours. Period.

DeltaNet not working?
I think it might be overloaded with everyone trying to see their profit sharing.

That's not quite correct. They can remove only if a error was made in the coverage process. They can't remove it because a better option became available. Again contact DALPA.

Yeah, there is a little more to the story....I did have a WS in that would/should have been triggered by this trip. However, scheds called me and awarded it as a GS which I promptly acknowledged. Yes, I was scratching my head at the time wondering why they gave me a GS for a trip that matched a WS I had in.

Scheduler made a mistake (2 other guys at the same time had the same deal happen....GS's later changed to WS...don't know if they acknowledged or not), however once I acknowledged the trip as awarded (GS) I thought it (or the $$) were mine. I have no obligation to acknowledge a WS award for next day...they have the right to remove the WS from my line after 10 minutes and move on.

IF I had kept my phone nearby after accepting the GS I would have seen the voicemail and would have called to ask what happened to the acknowledged GS. They would have explained that it was a mistake and that PWA 23.Q.13 gives them the right to take it back. I would have then accepted it as a WS. So, in a way it's interesting...They had the right to change their mistake, and I had no obligation to be reachable after acknowledging the GS. I missed their "correction" phone call and spent the next hour thinking I had a GS for today....which caused me to miss out on even the WS.

My takeaway: I now know any awarded and acknowledged GS can be taken away without pay up until 2 hours prior to report so I'll make sure I don't miss their phone calls from the time I acknowledge it until 2 hours prior.

I agree with Imapilot.....once we acknowledge an awarded trip the pay for that trip should be ours even if they remove it.
