There is no way I want to fly 80hrs and then pick up overtime at a measly 1.5.

I say really learn the system we have and maximize for effect!
I'll bite. How do you do that when you have to hit gs trigger?

Exactly.

Even if you don't drop to zero, you could drop several trips, and attempt pick up better trips. Several guys here do that.

It's a huge QOL benefit.

Anyhow, Scheduling put it as a personal drop, and to bastardize Monty Python, every drop is precious when you're on rookie pay. What's the procedure to get this fixed? Call Scheduling, go through the CPO, or is there a correction form somewhere in iCrew I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.
Call scheduling first. Be very polite. If they don't fix it, call ALPA. Look at your time card and make sure it was a personal drop first. I have never seen them do that or heard of them doing that.

New scheduler did it to me this past summer. It was a WS slip that I got about two or three days earlier, she was under the impression that she just had to remove the rotation.

Just wondering...how much accrued sick is there for probationary pilots?

Once they have completed OE it's 50 hours in the first year. Not sure how the verified/non-verified thing works on totals less than 100 hours...

Just pull your bloomer's outta your crack and develop a thick skin. It should've been issued to you when you became a pilot but some guys are inherently more sensitive. Works well with the ladies but not so useful in the pigpen. (Didn't I use a happy face?)

If what Sailing says is true and the company implements a schedule/reroute optimizer, green slips may become more of a rarity. It's interesting that these rumors about further reducing quality of life (min month) and adding even more productivity are potentially being discussed after how much has already been given up over the last/lost decade. Many pilots no longer have confidence the union will hold the line and raise the bar based upon recent past performance.
