No. Coming back from MLOA.

That news. Where'd you hear that?

It's 2 hours to report.

No, it's promptly available. You must be in the general area of your base, answer the call and be prepared to report promptly. If the scheduler asks how long it will take you to get there, you simply tell him that you'll be there as soon as you can.

Any further discussion of the meaning of promptly available should take place only between you and your Chief Pilot, possibly with your rep in the room.

lol. Not sure how that applies, but it is as logical a reason as any.

Because he was a Democratic Rep and voted for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker?

I'll throw this out at you again since your knowledge of statistics appears to be lacking:

Is the DALPA survey in its current form more scientifically valid than the DPA survey?

The answer is neither. Both are like internet polls. It's whomever fills out the survey vs a scientifically determined random cross section. I do think the ALPA survey will be less skewed as it will attract more just plane pilots vs the DPA survey which the average joe probably won't even know its there much less take the time to fill it out. The DPA one will be heavily populated by DPA supporters.

Didn't ALPA hire a polling company to do a scientific poll last contract?

We have a winner! :) (TheManager was also correct)

Really? REALLY?? Is UT's math department that bad?

Yeah I believe it (DPA) is less valid because there are more posters that will go there that have an agenda. It very well might be statistically insignificant, but I do believe that a bias exists that would render it less valid. It doesn't really matter, and I think we are picking fly specks out of pepper with this anyway.

I still wonder what Tennessee did to the football gods to deserve the bad karma that we are getting in the form of Lane Kiffin.

Letting Fulmer go was the first mistake. Not hiring Cutcliff was the other. Although Cutcliff may have spurned the offer. I forget. Anyhow, I think Jones is a hell of a coach. UT is in good hands.

It appears as though the importance and viability of HND might have been a bit overstated.

Has any US carrier been able to make a US-HND flight work? Looks like AA dropped their JFK-HND last fall.

The fact that 2 of the 3 pilots running for ALPA president are unwilling to share their letters with all the ALPA line pilots tells the whole story. Line pilot scum do not matter. We are not worthy.

ALPA is anything but bottom up.

I hope they have fun at the country club. Line pilots stay at the Embassy Suites. How much a room at the country club? $300 plus.

Spare me your excuses. I've heard them all many, many times.
