So what? Fundamentals are still really really really good.

Technical trading is voodoo.

How is that done? Do they go to Bubbaville and have a lineup? Do the FAs wear numbers? What is interesting is that one charter I did was an NBA team, and half the FAs were not of the type that many on here like to describe as the ones that will save our industry. IOW... not Hooters models. Since sports guys are GUYS for the most part.. why aren't all the chosen ones Hooters models? Kinda puts the whole theory about the necessity for drop dead gorgeous FAs to rest now doesn't it?

The teams interview the FA's, and hire the ones they want on the charters. Some college teams too. I guess it's the coaches or the staff that does the interviewing, not the players, but I hear that sometimes the players (and coaches) do request certain FA's for a flight. I don't know why that's so hard to believe...

And yes, I've definitely seen some FA's wearing players numbers:p

I'm not sure that's right. I didn't get the impression that they were hand picked.

It varies by team. I fly the Angels a lot. Its always the same girls who know exactly what drinks to pour, particular snacks, etc, for the coaches and the players.

Last hockey season, I flew the Minnesota Wild a couple of times. Different girls. They just had to be charter qualified.

The charter F/A's I've spoken with tell me of all the sports teams, they like the Hockey teams the most because, "They are all so Young, So Polite, so Cute!" is what they tell me.

Funny...that's the same thing I like about flying with new hire Flight Attendants! :D

But then I spend most of my time flying with retired NFL Linemen type F/A's.

Denny

I'll take that wager Denny. Sounds good.

BTW, the only redeeming play in the Packers game yesterday was when the Lion's LB tore his ACL celebrating a sack. Remember the Grammatica brothers? Hysterical!

I agree with you there.

My point was how he behaved on the sidelines and to Macguire- he stayed up with Macguire the past few nights helping him get ready.

JW has done some dumb stuff, but I agree with you regarding his behavior on the sidelines. As an aside, hard to picture Johnny Football being that energetic if he were in the same position.
