Anyone know when your supposed to be in your seat (in the cockpit) prior to departure time? I can't find the language or time. Thanks.

At aircraft 30 minutes prior. No mention of seat. FOM 3.2.22.

Correct. I flew a St. Louis Cardinals charter recently, and all the F/As were dedicated, hand-picked Cardinals gals. Notice how I didn't say "guys and gals?" They fly every Cardinals charter flight for the entire season.

They were not all Hooters-style hotties, but they all were attractive, hard-working, (in fact, incredibly hard-working) and knew all the players and staff by name, and had great rapport with them.

I think the hand-picked FAs are just for professional sports teams. It does not apply to college teams, mil charters, or any other charter we have (once I flew a charter for State Farm Insurance to Bermuda, for example--regular FAs).

Same with the Yankees.

They have 2 or more rounds of interviews before the season.

No automatic hold overs. Re-interview every year.

Never seen anyone use a hair dryer or curler in an airplane lav before until we showed up at what we thought was an empty 75 on the ramp at the MAT. Full on makeup/primping circus.

That is not the impression I got when I attended the recent survey roadshow. It sounds as though they're very much wanting to know what we think. Donatelli was practically begging guys to fill out the survey, regardless of how they feel on any given issue.

He says they even went so far as to hold webinars to take pilot input on what the survey should ask. First I've seen something like that.

They held webinars and asked for volunteers often to help shape the survey. Most would rather sit back and take potshots before actually offering to help.

Just looked it up on deltanet. There are open charters meaning anyone charter qualified can fly them, then there are dedicated sports team charters where the same flight attendants only fly for that team.

You're right. Some teams have dedicated FAs, some don't. One day last year I flew the Navy and Kentucky football teams. Navy had dedicated FAs, Kentucky didn't.

I grew up in Kentucky. I TOTALLY understand that.

Cutting through the 50 day, again.

Well below the resistance level of 41-sinking below 38.

? is will it be down on higher volume at the close.

Not looking healthy.

I observed a soft wholesale market in housing 30 days ago, but a cyclical downturn always happens when the kiddos return to school and families stop moving around. Given that today's market is driven by August housing numbers there is no "news" for anyone who has been around for a few seasons.

The bond market is probably unsustainable, but that is nothing new.

I'm not sure that's right. I didn't get the impression that they were hand picked.

I hope the LA lead that I had with the Lakers last winter wasn't hand picked. She had a large wheelie cooler, and she cleaned out the galley after we got in and put all the leftover meals in it and went home. Maybe she was going to take it to the local food shelf.

You are not talking about girls that they had to tie a pork chop around their necks to get the dog to play with them......are you?
