Yeah seriously! Thanks ALFA!

I thought I was going to have to throw myself down the basement stairs rather than going back to fly that POS 737 again!

Jungle,

If a poster threatened you via a post please go back and report that post via the red triangle on the left side of the page.

There are not enough moderators to have 100% coverage of all posts but you and all posters can help by reporting inappropriate posts.

Thanks Scoop

Good thing we'll lower the floor for them just in time.

You better believe we are going to have China JVs as well.

We need to be briefed on the worst case scenario. If we agree to this LOA and the worst thing happens how much flying do we lose?

Virgin just added many U.S. Routes and we got?

If we can't make major gains in scope now, we never will.

Yes. At 31 pages in length, our Section 1 is just too short.

Awesome!

They're our partners! What else would you have our "union" do?

Worst case scenario is that Delta could decide to shrink us by roughly 100,000 international block hours per year AND keep their joint ventures intact. There might be worse that I'm missing, but that's what I see now.

Well, according to Ed, maybe it'll be our turn in 2016.

It's not that we can't, it's that we won't because our MEC administration is all-in on the concept of joint ventures being very profitable for Delta.

The guy who "threatened" you was probably trying to save you from yourself.

If VA is taking US routes with its JV, I'm sure that means Delta will be taking China routes in that JV, right?

Unless Dalpa is negotiating.

A poster did, and I don't think it went unnoticed. I'm not sure I'm a fan of junglebus. I guess others aren't either, because not many spoke up, while it was implied, not so subtly, that he was maybe putting his employment on the line.

I'd be upset too. I'd suggest you ignore his little rant, just as the original transgression was ignored, and consider PD and junglebus on the quality of their arguments going forward.

Seems clear from what has been said that is from SEA, using a mix of A330 and B767. Where to? Probably the destinations S and W of Narita that we currently serve (Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, etc) .

Burn Notice 12-11-2014 04:58 PM

BKK is roughly 7500nm from SEA. A350 is supposed to do 7700nm plus reserves. Makes sense for all points between, except beach destinations out of NRT.
