Hey guys, if anyone can confirm, been on hold for a Looooooonnnnggg time, but I don't see any out of pocket Maximum anywhere in any of the plans. Was that a little nugget they hoped we would not notice? Last year there were out of pocket max listed this year not so much! Tell me I am wrong! Anyone know?

I couldn't believe how blue that grid was. Almost every day, every weekend too. That is extremely temporary. Enjoy the flexibility while you can, as that is clearly destined to be a chronicaly short category in the long run.

Why is that? Because people will bid off the 717 to better-paying equipment as soon as they can?

I think once the initial and secondary bid freezes are up, you will see a fairly massive exodus from the mini dog, on both sides of the console. I think that's what Gloopy is saying. The left seat went pretty junior in NYC last bid. It has the potential to go even more junior. The initial guys bid to it for time off before it hit the line and then for greenslips when it got on line. Those two reasons are going away.

That said, I'm absolutely happy we have those jets despite it being "behind" me.

We on the 717 like big butts. Boeing 777 has a big butt.

Thanks for the explanation.

It'll be a bummer if folks get displaced onto the 717 from other equipment. It's a pretty happy group of people right now, it'd be too bad to get some grumpy folks who don't want to be there.

"Mini-dog," I like it. DogWhisperer needs to do something with that...

Very, very doubtful that could happen sans a "black-swan" event. Even then it might not happen. We are hiring at capacity and even if someone did find themselves in a closing category with announced mandatory displacements they can displace into any category that anyone junior to them is in.

So as long as new hire classes are giving 88s, 73s, Baby buses, and even ERs - that probably will not happen.

Scoop :)

I'm confident the company and DALPA, working in unison, will have no problem inventing or perpetrating a "black swan" event just in time for C15.

ALPA dues reduction resolution failed at the BOD. A reduction in pay for the ALPA president also failed.

Delta pilots weighed down again by a bloated, ineffective bureaucracy.
