You would have had trouble finding it tonight. We had a power outage for over 6 hours.

There's a pretty good explanation for the new change to delivering the release process on Deltanet now. IMO, no biggie.

Don't have time to go back and find the discussion but those that were talking advances in aviation technology....Elon Musk says we are nearing the battery technology for electric transcon flights. Whether you agree with him or not, he's definitely an interesting, out the box thinking guy.

Time stamp 38:30 is where he mentions electric flight. The whole interview is interesting if you have time.

I'm not a fan of using batteries to replace internal combustion. I would rather focus on fusion, or the production of artificial oil.

Theoretically, there is enough Thorium that if it were used in molten salt breeder reactors, there would be enough excess energy to produce hydrocarbons. If the government stopped wasting money on entitlements, and invested in three key technologies, Thorium molten salt reactors, Indium antimonide fast semiconductors, and coal liquefaction/bio fuels using nuclear heat. It would not only eliminate our dependence on foreign oil, it would stabilize the economy for several generations.

Mr. Winston was on the 545 am flight to ATL this morning from TLH. Must have been a pretty short night for him after the game and the flight home! Great game last night!

All that stuff is cool and should be explored, but to eliminate our dependance on foreign oil is so much simpler. Just drill baby, drill. We are already the worlds #1 producer of Natural Gas and could be the #1 producer of petroleum. We have more proven reserves than the ME, we just aren't allowed to go get it or transport it to refineries.
