If the profit is over 2.5 billion it's 1.8 to 1.9%. If the profit is less then 2.5 billion the number becomes less. It was traded for a 2% raise. In dollars if the profit is over 2.5 billion the profit sharing pool is reduced by 125 million.

It doesn't matter if you are Mil or Civ, either way you take a pay hit when you drop reserve days. And you are giving the worst advice ever....going negative in the bank while on 1st year pay. Regarding Heiko, I don't recall a single post from DPA ever criticizing him. He was a relatively new guy there anyway.

Heiko was a negotiator for C2012. He ran for Neg Comm Chairman after C2012 at the regular election and was not elected (I'm guessing this is the post C2012 "purge" you are referring to where King became king and the Neg Comm was reduced to 3 members with Nevins joining Scrappy and Coons). In the most recent pre-section 6 election he was elected once again as a member of the committee. I personally don't feel it's accurate to refer to him as "new" to the committee. With the exception of a tiny sabbatical, he has been on the Neg Comm since the pre-section 6 election going into C2012 which is almost as long as the DPA has been in existence. Morgado on the other hand is on the Neg Comm for the first time.

Prior to all that, Heiko had an extensive background in the Scheduling arena where he served as Chairman of the committee with Scrappy as his vice. He was the Scheduling committee vice-chairman prior to that under Kim Welch back when we got Letter 46 in December 2004 and PBS was subsequently negotiated and implemented. With some short gaps, he has been doing ALPA work for the better part of 10 years at least.

If it's true that he quit, I think that is unfortunate.

You did not answer my question. Are you talking about the percentage of profit sharing that was monetized in C2012? If so, then what I was saying is the monetized amount of profit sharing from C2012 is already known and it is 2%. It would never be more than 2 percent and could be less. We received that 2 percent as part of the 8 percent we got on January 1 of a couple years ago.
