I'm really looking forward to guys like you, Weigel, Jorgenson et. al. leading us to the promised land. At least Nestor, Dilbeck, Mason, Shinnick and other guys from your peer group stepped up and tried. You'll be able to tell us "told you" so much easier. Plus, you'll build some character with the rocks that get thrown at you by "friendly fire".
And I'm serious. For the record, I will not support a recall of Nestor or Mason. Dilbeck has lost his way in the harwood machine, and I think needs to step out. Shinnick put in a tremendous amount of effort... in convincing people that no was absolutely the correct vote. Also, my level of participation in ALPA is officially the same as Shinnick. |

And I'm serious. I bolded your statement. You claim they "stepped up"? No, NO they didn't. They FOLDED under political pressure from the "shadow MEC" (the DALPA admins who are not voted in, but appointed). They chose to ignore their constituents for personal gain. They chose personal gain in order to enhance their careers rather than serve the office they were elected (and paid) to. They chose unwisely. They will either honorably resign, or be recalled. The choice is theirs. Either way, they need to go. With honor, or not, it doesn't matter to me. Your comment about the "promised land" intrigues me. We all know there is no "promised land". We just want fair pay, and fair quality of life while the company is running on all cylinders. Nothing more, nothing less. The "yes" voters from the MEC need to go. Period. The DALPA Admin (Shadow MEC) must be BANNED from union work. Only then will we have a chance to have a fair contract, with fair pay and fair work rules. |

Enjoy flying the line...your days are DONE. One way or another you will be history due to this grass roots effort to retake our profession. http://media.giphy.com/media/GPiQUfo5FF2fK/giphy.gif |

And I'm serious. Delta will order jets at some point. Unless, we are going out of business because we voted no on the TA? That would make us not a very investment grade stock imho. |

Actually, it was a tongue and cheek post about the claims made with c2012 with hiring and new captains and no voters using the same "the sun will come out tomorrow anyways" logic.
It's time for guys like you to step up. |

And I'm serious. Even now when a substantial majority of the group votes overwhelmingly to not ratify this agreement you guys just tell us how wrong we are...Really?! The only thing you guys are accomplishing is the destruction of ALPA, so good job! And I'm serious! |

And I'm serious. They went to work for a union that thinks their members are dumbasses and morons among many other things. How about I be serious for a moment, what else has been said on these fb pages amongst the pro dalpa group? I read one from Harwood saying "heaven forbid that a pilot making making 200k-300 would actually have to show up to work? How onerous and cruel. I think the UN humans right commission should get involved." Why do you guys hate the pilots so much? |

What does that have to do with anything?

We would be better served to remember that as we post. |
