Hey Guys,

Pardon the departure from the current topic. I'm thinking of taking my family to London for Christmas. Anybody ever do that? Any tips on where to stay, things to do? I've been there but it's been awhile. It'll be a first for my family.

No, NO they didn't.

They FOLDED under political pressure from the "shadow MEC" (the DALPA admins who are not voted in, but appointed).

They chose to ignore their constituents for personal gain.

They chose personal gain in order to enhance their careers rather than serve the office they were elected (and paid) to.

They chose unwisely.

They will either honorably resign, or be recalled. The choice is theirs.

Either way, they need to go. With honor, or not, it doesn't matter to me.

Your comment about the "promised land" intrigues me. We all know there is no "promised land". We just want fair pay, and fair quality of life while the company is running on all cylinders.

Nothing more, nothing less.

The "yes" voters from the MEC need to go. Period.

The DALPA Admin (Shadow MEC) must be BANNED from union work.

Only then will we have a chance to have a fair contract, with fair pay and fair work rules.

It's easy to make the mistake between slowplay and Sailingfun because their posts are nearly identical. But the posts you're referencing were made by slowplay...not sailingfun.
