I just saw my September 15 paycheck and have a question since it was 40% more than expected. What dates of flying does my pay on 15 September reflect? I've flown 3 green slips this month already but didn't think I'd see the extra money from them until October 15th. I got off of probation in August but my 1 year anniversary is in October, so I didn't think I would be getting year 2 pay yet. The extra money corresponds almost exactly to what I'd earn on year 2 pay. My hire date was at the end of July but I didn't start indoc until October. The section on deltanet that shows pay increases is unchanged since I got off new hire salary and moved to standard flight pay.
Basically my 15 September pay stub looks exactly like all my other midmonth pay stubs for the last 6 months except there is quite a bit more money in the flt pay line. I don't mind more money, just trying to figure out why it went up so much. No airline experience on this subject, but when the finance hobby shop at my previous employer would make an error like this, I could always count on it being removed without warning. The extra cash is NOT from the settlement. That bad boy netted me a whopping $93!!! Thanks |

Try the MyPAS link on the lower right side of the Admin page in DeltaNet. You can also look at your paystub on iCrew to check the hours and rate for flight pay.
EDIT: I like the PAS, I'd never seen that before. Great link, thanks again. |

I hope every DALPA leader knows this is non starter by any stretch of the imagination. Unless we get a 30% hourly increase date of signing, a 5:15 vacation day and our 60% FAE pensions back. And it goes without saying.... NO CONCESSIONS Any percent of profit sharing we give up will be negated in The next contract following the give. In other words, it will only be for the length of the contract we negotiate. To be longer than the contract, we would have to maintain a 6% (using the FA15 give in PS) advantage in pay over AA and UA. Example: if we had agreed to FA15, we would have gotten a total of approximately 21%. When American renegotiates, they will better our rates by 1 or 2%. If they do, our profit sharing give was just negated. If we keep our PS AND better their rates, it's the best of both worlds. Someone can tell me why I'm wrong..........................I hope. ORD Layover
All,
In October I have a 30 hour layover in ORD over a Friday and Saturday night. I am thinking about taking the wife but am not familiar with the area and have not been there in years. Any suggestions? Thanks Scoop |

I understand that the Berghoff Restaurant is open again. That was always a layover favorite, across from the Palmer House. :)
