Keep in mind that we were offered practically the same thing in our TA. We elected to stick with what we've got, and to reorganize our bargaining agent, which is in process and can't be engaged until that process is complete. I'm glad that this will help trigger 3.b raises if available, that keeps us in the game. This non contract raise shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. We'll get ours when we get our act together again and return to negotiating. The key though will be to avoid the concessions and improve the important areas that were not addressed. Be glad for your fellow employees, and look forward to our raises that we deserve and will achieve. This only helps our cause. And keep in mind, our profit sharing will outpace theirs if we don't complete the process in a timely manner, and we will be getting raises through 3.b possibly as well.

Even if it did trigger 3b4 our paise raise would be zero since we currently match the UAL/AMR average.

I'm certainly happy for my fellow Delta employees. The "slap" comes from a 1 Dec pay raise to avoid 3B4. A 1 Jan pay raise that coincides with the PS change would have been more appropriate. I'm curious what the financial models show as the actual increase in compensation. Any word on that yet?

Guess I should eat my words. Never figured the Flt attendants and ground staff would get such a deal. Maybe we use "Me Too" off them for once...

If they got this raise just by threatening to vote in a Union, can you imagine the restorations we could achieve, if we just threatened to take off our backpacks?

I've got a trip NOOP'd on my line next month. I understand that its pay protected, but will it end up as a credit or no-credit trip?

Or like someone said months ago. Who was it FTB or 80kts? Maybe we should 'threaten' to vote in a Union as well. :D

It will be credit. Don't get to excited yet however. Trips often show noop because marketing has made a equipment swap or other adjustment on a leg of the rotation. They show back up in a day or two with the correction. If it stays as a noop you probably will have a recovery obligation.

They NOOP'd all the A320 30-hr layovers in Haiti next month (20+ of them) and converted them to 11-hrs. Which I don't get, really. It's the drive that's unsafe, not the hotel. Well, there is the whole malaria thing.

Shadow Days post award

Once the schedule is out with (S) trips on the shadow days, can anything be done to improve the value of the schedule? Will PBS award a shadow swap with the pot, whiteslip or greenslip? Are there any options via the pilot to pilot board. I know I can't actually pick up a trip to fly, but can it be picked up as a shadow trip?

Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a list of 767ER's that are international WiFi equipped?

I just saw my September 15 paycheck and have a question since it was 40% more than expected. What dates of flying does my pay on 15 September reflect? I've flown 3 green slips this month already but didn't think I'd see the extra money from them until October 15th. I got off of probation in August but my 1 year anniversary is in October, so I didn't think I would be getting year 2 pay yet. The extra money corresponds almost exactly to what I'd earn on year 2 pay. My hire date was at the end of July but I didn't start indoc until October. The section on deltanet that shows pay increases is unchanged since I got off new hire salary and moved to standard flight pay.

Basically my 15 September pay stub looks exactly like all my other midmonth pay stubs for the last 6 months except there is quite a bit more money in the flt pay line. I don't mind more money, just trying to figure out why it went up so much. No airline experience on this subject, but when the finance hobby shop at my previous employer would make an error like this, I could always count on it being removed without warning. The extra cash is NOT from the settlement. That bad boy netted me a whopping $93!!!

Thanks
