Lethert and Associates, Roseville. I've used then for a long time.

Assuming I don't get a trip with a 30 hour layover, any idea how the company will give me 30 in 168 (or do they even have to?). If so would it be 6 days on, 30 hours off, then sit that final day of reserve or would it be 7 days on then having not gotten my rest, day 8 is off (and I get to go home a day early :)

My understanding is that it's a look back that requires 30 hours free from duty in the last 168 hours. The 30 hours can be accomplished on a long overnight (like 34 hours in FSD in January). I don't know if Delta has a contract provision that requires otherwise. If you get to 138 hours since your first availability and don't have 30 hours in your look back, you should be off for 30 hours. See 117.25 (b)

You are pretty much correct but you have to be careful when you say "30 hours off". You're still on call but just unusable until you've had rest.

They do not have to assign rest but they can't assign you duty if you haven't had legal rest.
ie => if they let you go "illegal" then you essentially have a 30 hour leash instead of 12.

They will assign rest by contacting you in the same method as when they assign trips. 1) pre-release schedule check 2) phone call 3) attempted phone call.
If #3 then there's a couple special rules:

such rest period shall begin no earlier than 2 hours following the first attempted contact. In such case, the pilot must inform the Company within 9 hours of first attempted contact if he was unable to begin his rest as scheduled.

But just to prove I am not anti GB and a friend of Buzzpat, I'm going all in on GB and it's gimpy QB with the hot girlfriend.

Cam Newton found success with a lot fewer weapons at his disposal that Rodgers has. With better weapons probably fewer turnovers. And he too is injured. Rodgers will make completions even with Sherman in coverage.

I think GB wins.

Hey man, don't burst my bubble! :). When I saw Kam Chancellor huddle the line to try and block the punt, I was pretty amazed............then I saw him do it again!!!!!

I think it will be a good game.......and I'm off for it!

They lost 4 games this year. They are beatable.

Did you watched any of the last 7 games they played? In the last 6 games of the regular season they allowed less than 7 points a game.

I like their chances at home......:)

If GB learned one thing about him and punts, it is that they had better practice a hard count, then a long count, see if they can get him to jump early.

His timing was pretty good, no doubt, but I think GB is smart enough to have a fix for that.

Thanks. So would it be 7 days on, then 30 hours of rest where I cannot be assigned? If in my scenario of 8 days of reserve with day 9 as a golden day, would I be safe to commute home as soon as I'm assigned rest?
