I was gonna say too. I'm very impressed how quickly anti-Delta threads get shut down by the Delta mods.

It wasn't shut down by a Delta mod. There are only 2 of us out of 13, anyways. I was looking forward to seeing how much more butthurt I could get Pelican tonight.

I don't know where you got that information. A memo I printed out from the company yesterday says "Non-uniformed crew who are selected for random screening at the KCM point willl continue to have their exemptions allowed"

The next paragraph states that a non-uniformed crewmember trying to clear screening out of uniform in the normal screening lanes will not have an exemption for the liquids.

So it boils down to if you use the normal lanes or TSA pre check out of uniform they can take your stuff, if you use KCM out of uniform it is good to go. The memo also clarified, at least for me, that KCM can be used at any time by the crewmember. Company business or personal travel.

I hear a lot about the liquids exemption. What about aerosol cans? Can't find details on other deviations for crew, but the other day a screener wanted to see my crew badge (while I was out of uniform) before letting me keep my full size shaving cream can. I haven't been able to verify the actual TSA policy.

Don't worry about Sailing..... He is always on here spouting things as gospel only to have them proven false. Case in point is the changes to KCM, last week he was staing if not in uniform there were no exceptions. Now this week the song has changed but still it's not correct.

Can't just one of these months I wake up and get in via the backdoor? Very frustrating....Isn't as easy as just hitting the button?

They can process an AE in 24, why not a Bid?

Baja.

I am going to have to go back and read it again...I had the same impression as sailing on this one.
