Just did a quick scan of the category lists. (this is all FO thoughts).

NY is much, much more junior than anything else (obviously). DTW and ATL are at comparable seniority. I thought that DTW would be more junior. The 330 compares with the 767-400 in ATL, but the DTW 757 is much more senior than the 7ER in ATL. 320 is more senior than the -88. If DAL-N people want to get senior quick...go to NY! You could easily be 50% on the ER, 50% on the 73, and 25% on the 88.

I get a bad feeling that over time we will initiate that program again and it will act as the hammer management needs to work us over.

We should just sit back and look forward to what the future will hold knowing that management lost its most precious tool in hammering the pilots.

I hope we do not give it back to them....
+1

Giving them fewer hammering tools would be a good thing, especially since we've already got this gas powered nail gun to deal with:

This friendly reminder brought to you by the Pro-Scope Club It looks good in our colors though, just not the RAH symbol in the corner, that kind of ruins it.

Simply put, DAL pilots flying DAL coded flying!!!!!!!!!

I am encouraged that it appears that our MEC sees scope as important. At least that is what I am being told out of the five star meeting this week in ATL.

With the added flying out of LGA and the new terminals in JFK and LGA, NYC is going to move progressively towards being our best all around base. If they make it more friendly to commuters like DTW evidently is, which imo could happen in a key stroke, then it could very well be our best base.

ATL is a mean base. I think the people that are 2-3% in category are able to get commutable trips. And Peachtree city is not a utopia, people die there every day. And there are losts of 2 and 3 day trips, back to back trips too. I'd try NYC first if I was looking for a new base.

Trust me, they see it and will bid accordingly. If you do not recall the demographic data that was sent out. Something like 400 pilots live in MI.

Drama? He's right!

... pass rate on the 737 program is only 15%. Line Check Airmen and the FAA use your Certificate to fill out a pink slip at the beginning of your ride. Boeing builds crappy airplanes compared to Douglas. Snow is 4 feet deep in Atlanta this morning. I'd go get it off the driveway, but I'm afraid I'd get shot by a roving gang. Kids wear bullet proof vests in class. My Rottweiler craps on the floor because even he's afraid to go outside.

The Delta South guys are anal. They're raving lunatics. Atlanta's the absolute worst. Bid down here and I could be your First Officer. Besides every trip duties in at 05:45 and releases you after the last RJ flight to your home town. Atlanta's just horrible, terrible I'm telling you and in the summer it is hotter than a four balled tomcat.

Oh an there is no culture. Our aquarium is just a couple of goldfish in a kiddie pool. There's nothing to do, but it does not matter, you don't want to go outside once you get your locks set, alarms on, and security cameras powered up.

So maybe some of you contract guru's could help me out. I am currently DTW DC9B. I was DISPLACED off DTW 320B back in April. If I read the PWA correctly I will hold recall rights to that seat for 180 days post SOC.

Now if I have all that correct, lets say that I DON'T get recalled on the next AE but am AWARDED a new seat, say MSP M88B. Do I forfeit my recall rights?

It seems to me that if this was the case my recall rights would expire by the Conversion date of the AE anyway, but I was just curious.

Thanks in advance.
