I ask, because I hear guys make the statement you just made, yet I rarely come across someone who has actually been hassled. Actually come to think of it, I can't think of one.

I really don't care if they want a note anyways. I don't gsme the system, and if they want the note they have to pay for the Doc visit. From what I hear it simply doesn't happen. I'm happy leaving that provision intact if they leave the rest of the program alone.
Happened to me four times thus far.

Who? A Poolie starting in March that will push you up the seniority ladder by +1 (or is it -1?).

Why? Wouldn't you want to know how your future paycheck was calculated before making a major career decision?

Use Hotwire or Priceline. If you want to see the hotel and its rates then use hotels.com.

If you call the DTW LEC Office, they keep a list that is reasonably current.

This is why you're so embarrassing to have around here Oberon. You were busy flying for Pinneaglesabapass or some other scuzzball regional when this was occurring, yet you throw out this kind of superiority blather.

For the non-Oberon lurkers that may not know, C2012 was willingly voted in by 62%. Some loved it, some hated it and others voted yes due to a massive fear campaign from our MEC administration designed to scare instead of inform.

Perhaps they will play some of the classics next time?

"You'll never see the first 3% raise"
"You won't like plan B."
"If this were to pass, we could see ourselves running newhire classes by the end of 2012"
"Don't worry, something big is coming if this passes"

1. Welcome to the Show.

2. When you were hired, my seniority number didn't change at all.

3. Profit Sharing has zero bearing on how your paycheck is calculated.

You assume my delta 401k is my only retirement investments. Thanks for the advice though.

It's sure a poor business move when you purchase valuable assets, then throw them away. Pan Am brought a lot to Delta, then the Einstein's just tossed them. Same with buying Comair, then dumping it. Same with buying back stock for billions, then taking it to bankruptcy. Same with the NWA Pacific cargo ops, then dumping it.

If buying Pan Am ended up being a bad business move, it wasn't because of Pan Am.

1. You strike DAL, you get a free trip to the Moon. 2. If you ever flew PanAm equipment, most of it had one foot in Arizona. 3. The six empty JT8D boxes in India pretty much gave DAL an idea of PanAm's inventory control. I have no idea about NWA, except they sent me the bill for my physical. Good ol' Nyrop.
